Meet Szenina Russo, the owner of handcrafted home decor brand, Szeninart.
I met Szenina, last year, when she participated in a collaboratively styled photoshoot. It was a bohemian-bridal-inspired session and I quickly learned that Szenina was just as gorgeous on the inside as she was on the out. In time, I also learned that she is an artist herself. Can you imagine my excitement!? I’ve always loves making connections, especially when I can use my platform and talents to encourage someone else.
A recent graduate of The State University of New York College at Buffalo, Szenina was born and raised in Buffalo. She fell in love with the versatility of making art through macramé and searched for materials she could work with in her home, putting her BA degree, with concentration in Fibers, to practical use.
“It has been fun to come up with variations of designs and patterns. I look forward to choosing every spool of macrame and creating a mood for the piece!”
Without studio space in early spring, she got to work making every coaster, earring, planter and keychain she could right from home. “Handmade, personalized macramé is a way to share something crafted with love.
